In May 2010, Hatch hosted a special ’speed dating’ event for Theatre Writing Partnership at the Assembly Rooms in Derby. 20 writers and artists came together for a networking event with a difference as Hatch acted as a matchmaker for the creative industries. Established playwrights and emerging artists from across the region were invited to take part and we will be watching closely to see how we can support any potential future collaborations at forthcoming Hatch events. Theatre Writing Partnership  is the East Midlands regional development agency for the encouragement and promotion of new writing for the theatre.
